JACKSON COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) — Kids put on hair nets and earplugs before heading to the assembly line Monday, but not for work.
A group of students from four schools in Jackson County toured a factory in Jackson during day one of a three day manufacturing camp.
8th and 9th graders toured Bellisio Foods and sat in on presentations from Ohio and Shawnee State Universities.
The camp’s purpose is to show kids they can have a future in the area they grew up in.
The manufacturing camp continues through July 26.
