Milo’s Whole World Gourmet Buys Brownwood Farms

Will Open Additional Michigan Office

Athens, Ohio-based Milo’s Whole World Gourmet purchased Brownwood Farms, a food manufacturer with double the sales of Milo’s, according to local news reports. Milo’s also plans to build a new facility to accommodate expanded production.

Milo’s, which sells specialty pasta sauces, salad dressings, savory jams and bruschetta toppings under the Vino de Milo and JB’s Best brands, will first focus on reintroducing Brownwood Farms’ Cherry Barbecue Sauce and Famous Kream Mustard before adding more products according to demand. All products are being reformulated to fit Milo’s clean ingredient standards.

The company will retain a sales person from Brownwood Farms and open a new office in Michigan to continue serving customers of the Williamsburg, Mich.-based Brownwood Farms.
