Course Schedule:

October 27 | State of Talent Attraction & Retention: This first session of a 4-part series will introduce the current state of attraction and retention from Ohio and around the country. In the ever-changing landscape of workforce development, companies need to implement best practices in their attraction and retention strategies to become an employer of choice. Denise will be sharing retention reports and lead the discussion on cost of turnover. There will be a discussion time towards the end so that we can hear directly from you on your current workforce retention issues to help incorporate recommendations and solutions into the upcoming sessions.

November 3 | Attraction & Branding: Learn why it is important to use branding to attract talent and where to find your talent. We will be sharing best practices as well as what is outdated so you can leverage your brand and attract the best talent along with retaining your current workforce.

November 10 | Generations & Culture: With millions of manufacturing workers expected to retire in the next few years, the Z generation and Millennials will need to fill these positions. As these workers have been entering the hiring pool, employers are discovering that the next generation of workers learn quite differently than they did. Manufacturers need to leverage their key characteristics, implement new learning and development programs that align to the way these generations learn and rethink policies that will not only help attract but also retain these generations.

November 17 | Structured Onboarding & On-the-Job Training: Just as the technology we are adopting into our manufacturing environments needs to be innovative, agile, efficient and bottom-line impacting, so does our workforce training from the moment they walk in the door through their entire career. We will be sharing best practices in Onboarding and OJT that can directly impact your retention rates and keep employees engaged.

All companies who attend all four sessions will have an opportunity to have a one-on-one discussion with Denise on how to implement these strategies.

All registrants will receive login information via email with instructions on how to join the Zoom call.
