DPC Pipe Fabrication Announces Expansion of Meigs County Operations

DPC Pipe Fabrication, a pipe fabricator in Meigs County, in collaboration with JobsOhio, Ohio Southeast Economic Development (OhioSE), the Ohio Department of Development, and the Meigs County Ohio Economic Development Office, today announced a commitment to invest over $1.9 million with plans to invest over $2.6 million to expand its operations in the East Meigs Industrial Park in Tuppers Plains, Ohio, creating 45 new jobs.

“DPC Pipe Fabrication is a veteran-owned Ohio business experiencing an increase in demand for its customized quality pipe fabrication products,” said JobsOhio President and CEO J.P. Nauseef. “In addition to expanding its headquarters, DPC Fabrication plans to increase its workforce of highly skilled craftsmen by 450 percent to support company growth and client needs.”

Founded in 2015, DPC Pipe Fabrication makes custom welded and fabricated pipe for industries like semi-conductor, power, chemicals, food and beverage, oil and gas, and more.

“Being centrally located amongst several Mega Projects, this investment puts us in a position to better respond to the growing demand,” said Jered Hill, owner of DPC Pipe Fabrication. “It is an exciting time for Meigs County and all of Ohio.”

In order to scale up production to fill increased orders, the company will expand and lease two additional buildings in the East Meigs Industrial Park, both owned by the Meigs County CIC.

“DPC Pipe Fabrication is a great example of growth opportunities for companies in the OhioSE region,” said Katy Farber, OhioSE Vice President. “The company has a strong and skilled workforce and is recognized as a supplier of quality products. We are pleased we could support this expansion project.”

The project was supported by a $100,000 JobsOhio Grant and a Job Creation Tax Credit from the Ohio Tax Credit Authority.

“It is exciting to see a company with already strong roots in Meigs County expanding its operations here at home. We are pleased that Mr. Hill and his team at DPC Fabrication have chosen to further expand their business here in Meigs County,” said Meigs County Commissioner Shannon Miller. “DPC Pipe Fabrication’s expansion will bring new jobs to the area and provide a boost to the economy locally while continuing to meet the needs of the industries and consumers it serves.”
